Brigadier General (Ret.) Geoffrey F. Weiss brings more than 32 years of military leadership to strategy and leadership advisory. He concluded his Air Force career as Director, Regional Affairs for the US Air and Space Forces, where he negotiated multibillion-dollar international security cooperation agreements and supervised over $320B in foreign military sales cases.
In addition to commanding at multiple levels, including in combat, Weiss has over 11 years of Pentagon experience where he advised the President of the United States on nuclear command and control and led global operations, crisis management, and air and missile defense initiatives for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
He is the Amazon best-selling author of The New Art of War: The Origins, Theory, and Future of Conflict (Cambridge University Press, 2021) and holds four graduate degrees, including a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
In the tradition of Sun Tzu and Clausewitz, The New Art of War melds philosophy, science, and military theory into an original framework for understanding why war happens, how it changes form, and where it is headed next.

Geoff Weiss is more than just a leader — he has established himself as a leader of leaders. His influence is not limited to his current location or the organization over which he presides. Rather, the inspiration, guidance, and encouragement he provides has spread worldwide with each leader he has mentored. Any organization wishing to raise their standard of personnel development should not only consider Weiss, they should snatch him up before their competitors beat them to him!
I have known Geoffrey in a professional capacity for over a decade. He is an exceptional leader with both deep interpersonal skills as well as a proven ability to steer large organizations to success. He personally coached my unit through a series of difficult changes and organizational realignments that included opening and closing detachments and ultimately changed our organizational culture. We emerged better for it.
